What is a Hotshot (Hot Shot)?

A Hot Shot (Hotshot) is a type of delivery that is needed immediately or in case of an emergency. It is the task of Red Hills Auto Transport to ensure that your cargo arrives at its destination as swiftly as possible (within physical and legal constraints).

Can I receive a free quote for your services?

Yes! Red Hills Auto Transportation will gladly provide a free estimate based upon your needs. Simply get in touch with us, and we will be glad to help!

Does Red Hills Auto Transport offer online tracking?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer an online tracking system.

Will anything I ship be well looked after?

We take pride in the quality of service that we provide for our clients. As such, we go to great lengths to keep every transported item as safe as possible. With this in mind, every load that we transport is strapped, to ensure maximum protection, both for your cargo and our drivers.

What is "Strapping a Load?"

All cargo is secured using either tie downs which are certified for weight, or with chains (cinched with either ratchets or winches) for safe handling and shipping. This safety measure also ensures that damages and losses to freight are kept to a minimum.

What type of trailers do you use?

Red Hills Auto Transport has a variety of trailers which can be utilized to meet the needs of our clients. These include a 36' x 8' Flat-bed Gooseneck and a 24' x 7' Gooseneck cargo hauler, which can be used to transport virtually anything, including pipe, lumber and machine parts.

Are there any weight / size restrictions for cargo?

There are certain restrictions imposed on cargo, due to the size of trailers thaT are used. Our trailers can transport cargo nationwide and have a maximum capacity of 23000lbs in weight, and 40ft in length.

Will my cargo be delivered on time?

The entire Red Hills Auto Transport business is based solely on our excellent reputation. This reputation has been built over the last decade by delivering on time, every time. We go that extra mile to put the needs of our clients first and ensure that cargo is delivered in a timely fashion to your door.
